The Founder

Vanessa Raphaely

Vanessa is the sole admin and manager ofThe Village community. A multi-award-winning ex-editor and Content Director of Associated Media, she has managed content, both commercialand editorial across all platforms of female focused brands including Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, O, The Oprah Magazine, House and Leisure, Marie Claire and Wow, (Women on Wheels.)

She is also a published author of children’s books(The Princess Pincushion books,) and her debut novel (Plus One, published by Pan MacMillan,) and a widely published journalist, having written for The UK Daily Mail and the Guardian, as well as many other local and international titles. She is also a public speaker and media consultant.
