I have been practising as an attorney and conveyancer for over 20 years. I have an established practice specialising in conveyancing and property law. I have extensive negotiating skills and have assisted and encouraged many clients over the years in resolving their disputes through ADR (alternative dispute resolution) rather than litigation.

I am an accredited mediator with FAMAC (Family Mediators’ Association of the Cape) and SAAM (South African Association of Mediators) and serve on the panel of mediators in the court programme “For the Childrens’ Sake” introduced by the Department of Justice at the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court, Cape Town, South Africa.

I specialize in family and divorce mediation and school community mediation.

I am a strong proponent of the international movement of Integrative Law and Restorative Justice and believe lawyers are first and foremost peacemakers, problem solvers and agents of change.

I believe that lawyers can play a critical role in bringing about positive change in society especially when it comes to resolving disputes and that they have a responsibility to humanize the legal system.

I believe that lawyers have an ethical duty to serve their clients in a holistic way and to assist and enable them to resolve their disputes in a cost-effective and non-combative way.
